The MIR Institute, School of Massage and Pain Management Therapy, was started by Dr. Alireza Mir-shojae to provide high quality and affordable vocational training to students and massage enthusiasts. Massage therapy techniques have expanded opportunities for employment in corporations, athletic leagues, hospitals, and start-up companies. The sensual art of massage is medically proven to provide relief from stress and increase blood flow to injured skin areas and strained muscles. Many students are discovering this new career path and beginning to enroll in a massage school.Private and hands on training is used at the MIR massage therapy school. Students learn to use effective hand massage techniques that are used to relax and stimulate overworked or strained muscles due to injury or soreness. Popular techniques are used to instruct massage school students how to manipulate the skin tissue providing relief to the neck, legs, back, and arms.

Students can learn the art of basic massage and advanced massage therapy while in residence at our massage therapy school. The program of study is designed to educate students on the basic fundamentals of anatomy and the human body. A standard bodywork program will prepare students for entry-level employment opportunities and complete required credit hours for state licensing requirements. The advanced massage school educates students with in-depth training for Shiatsu and Stone massage therapy and pregnancy massage techniques. This curriculum prepares students for a national certification in therapeutic massage.
Massage therapy techniques are widely used in physical therapy training and implementation. Physical therapy aides are important for assisting specialists with preparation and routine procedures when providing rehabilitation treatments to patients. Our physical therapy school teaches students to work under the direct supervision of a licensed physical therapist and provide assistance to patients during the treatment process.
